    Korea Trip – Busan Day Tour

    On day 6, I joined a day tour to visit the famous tourist spot in Busan. First we visited Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (해동용궁사 海東龍宮寺) which is a temple built at seaside. Next, we went to Taejongdae (태종대 太宗台) and Songdo Skywalk. Finally, we visit Gamcheon Culture Village (감천문화마을 甘川洞文化村) which is famous for The Little Prince statue located there.

    Korea Trip – Gyeongju Day Tour

    On day 5 of the korea trip, I joined a day tour to Gyeongju which is about 2 hours away from Busan. We visited a couple of world heritage. We went to Yangdong Folk Village (양동마을 良洞村), Seokguram Grotto (석굴암 石窟庵), Bulguksa Temple (불국사 佛國寺), Anapji Pond (안압지 雁鴨池).

    Korea Trip – Travel to Busan

    Accomodation · Attraction · Food Accommodation @ Busan Almond Hotel I chose to stay close to the KTX station because of the convenience. I selected the ‘Almond Hotel’ nearby. Attraction @ Busan Busan Tower (부산타워 釜山塔) Busan Tower is located at Yongdusan Park (용두산 공원 龍頭山公園). At the entrance of the park there is a big screen and a camera which will snap a picture at every time intervalOn the way, you can already see the tower emitting different colors of light.     Korea Trip – Heritage in Seoul

    I visited heritages in Seoul at daytime and enjoy the view of Hangang river at night. Firstly I went to Bugaksan Mountain (북악산 北岳山) and walk along on the city wall called Hanyangdoseong (한얀도성 漢陽都城). Then I visited the popular historical village - Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을 北村韓屋村). Then I entered the Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁 景福宮) and pretend to be the king.

    Korea Trip – DMZ Day tour

    I joined a day tour to Korea demilitarized zone (DMZ). During the tour, we visited the Imjingak (임진각 臨津閣), The 3rd Tunnel (제3땅굴 第三地道), Dora Observatory (도라전망대 都羅展望台), Dorasan Station (도라산역 都羅山車站), and lastly we visited a romantic village called Provence Village (프로방스 마을 普羅旺斯村).

    Korea Trip – Planning Korea Trip

    Plan your Korea Trip I believe there are tons of information online on how to plan your Korea trip. But I want to highlight three tips which could be very useful for your Korea trip. Language – You don’t need to have fluent Korean but learning how to pronounce words (which is easier than English), typing Korean words in your phone helps you to use Naver Dictionary or Google Search for any road sign, food menu, etc. Map – Install a Local Map Application Kakao map / Naver map (for me I used Kakao map).
